The New Home Building Process

Qualification

Building a home is a serious investment, in both time and energy. Before we lay a hand on a hammer, we want to know everything we can. Bring us your ideas (pencil sketches highly encouraged) and your budget, and we’ll listen intently while helping guide you through all the questions we know to ask based on our years of experience.

Design, Draft, Bid

Our design partners and suppliers step in to assist with the home design process, turning those dreams into official plans and blueprints. We then use those to crunch the numbers, consider your budget, and come back to you with a bid outlining exactly what it will take to make your new home come to life.

Build Begins

Once you say go, we get started! Orders are placed for all the materials, while we pull permits, draft and execute schedules, complete energy calculations, address drainage needs, and handle all the behind the scenes. As a homeowner, you’ll visit the selections showrooms and begin planning for your interior.

Foundation & Framing

A great home is built on a solid foundation, and that’s the first step in the physical build process. From there, our carpenters will frame out the skeleton of your new home and we'll invite you to visit, deciding where outlets will go, how you’d like your closets configured, and more!

Finishing Touches

After the selections are made, our crews and partners get to work beginning to make the house your new home. With our team of account managers and in-house carpenters, your project continues to move forward, while you’re able to focus on getting ready for move-in day.

Final Walk-through

Before you know it, the house is complete and we take the final steps alongside you, providing education on the mechanics of your home and answering any outstanding questions you might have. Setting you up for a strong start, our new construction warranty gives you peace of mind as you enjoy your new home.
