The foundry

Foundry is an interior remodel rooted in craftsmanship, history, and renewal. Set within a lakeside home, the project brings together bold design choices and reclaimed materials to create a space that feels both grounded and enduring.

At the heart of the home is a rich material palette—highlighted by wood salvaged from a 100+ year-old family farm. Carefully restored and integrated throughout, these elements carry forward a sense of legacy while adding warmth and character to each space. Paired with deep-toned cabinetry, natural stone, and clean finishes, the result is a balanced contrast between old and new.

Open living areas were reimagined to improve flow and functionality, creating a home designed for gathering and everyday living. From the kitchen to the living spaces, each detail was approached with intention—allowing the story of the materials to shape the overall design.
